DEVELOPMENT / PROPOSED RESEARCH SEQUENCE

Start simple. Earn the complexity.

Six stages, one standard: add a new capability only when it improves measurable learning outcomes. This is a research direction, not a delivery promise.

Starting point
00

Acoustic learning

Standard headphones. Test optimized speech, sound associations, active recall, adaptive repetition, and progressive information compression.

RESEARCH GOAL

Demonstrate repeatable learning improvement against ordinary instruction.

Stages represent a proposed sequence, not completed capabilities or a promised timeline. Progress depends on evidence.

Current scope

Early research and prototyping. The public platform documents questions, sources, and an initial personal observation. It is not a working cognitive codec.

The gate between stages

Define a protocol. Compare against controls. Measure delayed retention and transfer. Reproduce the result. Reconsider complexity if the simpler approach performs as well.

Possible future sleep loop: daytime learning → identify weak memories → supervised sleep detection → targeted cueing → next-day retention test → update learner model. None of these sleep capabilities is implemented today.
